The film indicates the value of the robotics and how it would tie to the future of education in North America. It tends to feature three first robotics competition teams as they are navigating the 2011 first season. It tends to act as a means of encouraging and inspiring the future innovators, engineers, leaders, scientists, and problem solvers.

 The high school counselors can consider using the video to inspire and encourage students to pursue science, technology, mathematics, and also lay foundations for future innovation. With the video, the counselor can inspire students while showing them how the inventions can have a significant and positive impact on the society.

Counselors can be a highly effective group of professionals who positively impact the student’s achievements, aspirations, and financial aid knowledge. School counselors normally have the opportunity of offering support and understand that student may not have (Nelson, 2014). The counselors are the primary source of career information for the students and have the unique opportunity of increasing awareness on different careers. The counselors can be the source of encouragement and positive direction in the life of the student. The film indicates a group of students who are participating in the toughest subjects and their motivation to being successful.  The high scholars are usually in the need of academic guidance as they are considering possible careers and the options for college. A counselor can use the video as a way of motivating students to consider pursuing a career in science, technology, or even engineering. The video indicates how students show interest in doing something that will change the technology world and the effort that students are putting in being winners. It also demonstrates how students are demonstrating their talent in different ways and the joy they have when they know that they are doing something that they enjoy.

When using the video, the school counselor can also encourage students to take challenging courses, monitor their progress, and also connect students to academic support. The counselor can be an active leader in establishing a climate that conveys high expectations for all students and encourages student to accept challenges and also support their efforts (Nelson, 2014). It is the duty of the counselor to work on creating an environment that is supportive and also challenging.

The video also indicates some of the challenges that students have to encounter when they are participating in certain projects. It is an indication that there is no career that does not have challenges. However, what one need is determination and the urge to move past the barrier. In Shaan’s group, at one point, the robot could not work; however, the team never gave up but focused on fixing the robot so that to get back in the game as soon as possible. Focus and determination tend to be a key factor in ensuring success and if students need to excel in their career, it is important that they should demonstrate determination. When using the video, it tends to demonstrate how students can excel in the different careers if they have passion, are hardworking, and determined to excel in the different field. Don’t fail me now part 5 is an excellent video that high school counselors can use when they are counseling students as it is applicable in different ways.
